Retford Basketball 2009 Christmas Event

It's the annual Retford basketball Christmas do, and before before we head out for some well deserved beers, there's some competitive fun happening on the court. The court is booked from 1pm - 4pm at Retford Oaks School. The first order of play is the 3 on 3 tournament. Names were drawn randomly out of the hat this week which to form the teams which you can check out below.

• Each team will play each other twice in a league format.
• Games will last 5 minutes.
• A team will receive 2 points for a win and 1 for a loss.
• Once every team has played each other twice, the top 4 teams will go through to a playoff style elimination.
• The team in 1st position will play 4th, and 2nd will play 3rd in the semi final.
• The semi final winners will compete to be the 3 on 3 Xmas champions.
• A player of the tournament will be chosen by ballot.
